No One's FriendA Poem by EshaA
I am the one who talks to many,
The chirpy and bubbly one. Call them acquaintances or friends, I seem to have a lot of them. You'll seldom find me alone, For I would prefer just anyone's company, Instead of the haunting loneliness. I used to feel elated, Thinking of the number of friends I have, But when I'm sad or feeling low, Not a single person waits or talks to me. I am the one whose friend is everyone, Not the one who is everyone's friend. A friend to all, but actually a friend of none. © 2016 EshaA |
