Are you that someone?

Are you that someone?

A Poem by Soapbox

Someone who looks upon my body as a work of fine art.

Someone who notices the creases in my palms.

Someone who knows the smell of my shampoo.

Someone who watches me while I sleep.

Someone who holds my hand when I need encouragement.

Someone who kisses my forehead.

Someone who will make a fool of themselves for me.

Someone who knows my heart despite my words.

Someone who takes care in studying the texture of my skin.

Someone who stands when I enter the room.

Someone who holds me at night.

Someone who will make me breakfast as the morning lights.
