Frog Moon

Frog Moon

A Poem by Eternal Poet

It was five endless moons

Since I lost saw your face

Tonight, the night song

Is magically igniting something

I had given up for lost....

Awakening me to lush ponds

And mirror-like waters

Hidden just beyond the cottonwood

At dawn, the spring chorus

Sadly subsides as stars fade

I am awakened by lonely silence

And veils of crystalline mists

That gently drift softly

Across the profile of your face
