It is the same god

who hurled the ice caps

onto the poles of the planet

 

It is the same god

who devised the digestive system

of the baby ravens

 

It is the same god

who makes peace

within the gates of Jerusalem

 

This is a god who is not impressed

with the athletic prowess of one's leg

nor the horsepower of one's chariot

 

This is a god who wants mortals

to feel awe for Her creation
