HellA Poem by TrevorYou whispered that you stole from her, Then asked me what Hell was. I told you it's just Earth without apathy, And you said that didn't sound that bad. Do you know what it's like to burn; To boil yourself in congealing regret? Have you ever cared so much that your soles wore out, And you were left to walk barefoot on shattered mirrors, Not one shard showing the direction you have to go to fix them all? I assure you, it's possible to get lost when all ways lead out. Sometimes your chamber is so small you don't know you can leave, Sometimes your breath is so shallow you don't even try. Have you ever cried for a soul that never touched yours? Open your eyes, Because the least you can do is bleed. © 2011 TrevorAuthor's Note
