Finding the balance, weighing my wants and needs, against family and friend's wants and needs, is not so much a scale, as a high wire act; sometimes performing with a safety net, other times, feeling the wind whip around me, as I look below and see the net has vanished.
Fearing free fall, I drop to my knees, clinging, like a cat with claws, until the wind dies down and then, I can carry on.
I think finding the balance of all the things we do is hard but we do our best for us and the people around us.... a downfal is how we learn and then like last sentnce we can carry on...Great work!
Hard to decide what we must do. Sometime we must stop and figure what is really important. I like the thoughts in the poem and the logical ending. I believe we must do the best we can. Thank you for the excellent poem.
