Death

Death

A Poem by Eziekiel Phlepton

A flower blooms
The same time a human
Dies
She cries
And tries
To fight
The lies
Of the corpse
Rotting in a
Casket
He is actually
Rebuilding himself
Into an honest
Healthy man
Who is loyal
And Royal
So that she
Will not see
That he's been
Dead
Since she has
Been born

I am currently a poet, but I would like to someday write a novel, a play and a screenplay. I enjoy reading Joyce, Philip K. Dick, and I am committed to Zen Buddhism. more..
