the darkness

alone in darkness,

out in the cold,

lost and lonley,

with nobody to hold,

as i sit alone,

and watch the rain fall,

wanting help,

but nobody will call,

so i sit alone,

and continue to fight,

but the darkness will find me,

somtime in the night.

Nicely done, moving and speaks volumes. Very intense for the length with good wording. So many are or feel alone so this is very universal to read. Life is a solo journey in so many ways.. sometimes we need to pick ourselves up and sometimes people do need help.. I think it's a hard thing for the person afflicted or bystanders to sometimes know. Kind words do go a long way.. your piece just may help someone out there that feels like this.. making them feel not SO alone.
