I Choose!

This is an empowered poem, giving people encourage ment that they can make it on their own.

I CHOOSE......
I am strong, i am not weak,
I will stand w/out you and not fall,
I am unique and free and
I can make it on my own;

I don't need your strength,
I don't need your protection,
I don't need you to succeed,
I don't need you to complete me
nor to help me fly;
I don't need you.

I choose to share in your strength,
I choose to share in your protection,
I choose to be your partner in success,
I choose to lean on you as we fly;
I don't need you, I choose you!

I have had that feeling and written a similar poem. Good ending.
That's something I'm coping with right now too, though. I think it's a normal, natural human condition to need another person. That's the perception I've finally come to accept after years of dealing with needing and then trying not to need people. Some guys think it's stupid to need another person but i disagree. But I also think it's a great, great thing to be totally strong by yourself and on your own. Whatever brings your liberation and happiness. It's a great thing to be independent but enjoying the decision to have someone else at your side. Nice point.
