Half-light

Half-light

A Poem by Deborah Shepard

Your precious kiss, I await each nigh
Encircle me with your wings fearless to life
I am the lighted angel , my soft plight
I am the maiden , righteous shall prevail again

My beauty is cunning , I am the rose spoke on your breathe
I reside in the fairest realm
From his cave below , he will ascend
I am flames eternal fires

My immortality shall be seen
Burin forth I am powerful with silken talons
I am the moon, sun, immortality in my grasp
Powerful winged dragons

I am she the temptress of fires
Defy me , legends challenge winged hearts
Hands feathered lost in passionate
Midnight wrath shall parish
