Nothing Special

I was stupid to think i was special....

I'm absolutely nothing special

And I was stupid to think I was

To him I was just another girl

A smile, a laugh

some one to talk to

But not some one he really cared about

 

He'd call me beautiful

And gorgeous

Make me feel like

I was the only he saw

I wish I would've know

He did that to every girl

 

And I see

That to him I was just

Another girl

Never really anything important

Or special

I was stupid to even think

For a second

That I was special

Why would he chose me

When there are so many others out there

All of them better then me.....

 

And hiding in the shadow

Sun shining on another girl

The world showing favortism towards

Everyone but me

I know that

There's nothing in the slightest

special about me....

I sighed after reading this.
I've known too many of those types of people not to wince a little at these words...
I'd love to know how they justify their behavior because they never see how damaging it is or change.

You just need to wait for the one who notices.
