Crash Landing

Crash Landing

A Poem by Tallulah
"

I fell hard and i didn't have anyone to catch me

"

I fell hard and fast

And I didn’t think twice

Didn’t check to see

If I had someone there to catch me

I didn’t realize that

I was alone

And that when I landed

It was going to be a crash land

Hitting the ground hard

That it would be painful

And result in a broken heart

Those butterflies

That used to fly

In the depths of my stomach

At the very mention

Of your name

Have now died

And left me feeling empty

I should have known that

It was her

She’s better then me

In every way

I should have realized

By the way he spoke to her

That I was forgotten

Pushed towards the sidelines

And I should have realized

That she cast to large of a shadow

For me to ever shine

And I fell without thinking twice

And I land hard

And broke into a million tiny little pieces

Excellent poetry! The pieces can be swept up and put together again, albeit they'll never be the same. But sometimes the pieces that are formed from the destruction of one, makes for the most beautiful recreation of the one broken.

How sad. While this was a sad poem I can honestly say that it was a great poem! I like the imagery you put into this writing. Great poem! :)

Awww.....What's wrong? I think this was a really great poem, a few grammar errors here and there but otherwise it was great. ^^
