Crash LandingA Poem by TallulahI fell hard and i didn't have anyone to catch me
I fell hard and fast And I didn’t think twice Didn’t check to see If I had someone there to catch me I didn’t realize that I was alone And that when I landed It was going to be a crash land Hitting the ground hard That it would be painful And result in a broken heart Those butterflies That used to fly In the depths of my stomach At the very mention Of your name Have now died And left me feeling empty I should have known that It was her She’s better then me In every way I should have realized By the way he spoke to her That I was forgotten Pushed towards the sidelines And I should have realized That she cast to large of a shadow For me to ever shine And I fell without thinking twice And I land hard And broke into a million tiny little pieces © 2009 TallulahReviews
