Let your Virtues save you Now

Faith, Hope and Love see how far they get you in this world of darkness.

In this world of darkness what is it that we seek out? What is it that we believe?

Is it this hope that is suppose to keep us sane

This faith that is suppose to keep us uninfected by the evil in this world

Or is it this love  that is suppose to make us live life as though in flight?

Does all this goodness even exist

Or is all a lie

And all that escaped from Pandora's box was pure evil and darkness

 

This love as we call it

Does it really exist

Or is it just lust

and our hearts are playing with our minds

or our minds are playing with our hearts

Is it just a game of hide and seek

to finda fancy that doesn't exist?

 

This faith that we depend on

This god that we believe in

Is it really just enough to get us through life

Is it something that we believe in blindly

Something we can't see or preceive

and yet we still know its there

How are we all not aware

We're just pieces to the game

The pawns

The sacrifices

All of us protecting the very few

Who really matter

 

And this Hope

This thing that is suppose to keep us moving

Forward as if the sun were to always shine

Sometimes the storms never ends

Sometimes the damage can't be fixed

Sometimes

 Your hope just isn't enough

 

Sometimes there are only shades of black and white

Other times you drown in gray

THe line is never solid

But always blurred

And you never quite know where you

Belong

Kinda dreary today...I like how parts of this came out but i hate the last stanza.Any suggestions?
