All she wanted was all eyes on her and no where but her.

People surround her
Voices talk about her
She is the center of all
Her smile glitters with happiness
And the spotlight shines on her
That's all she really wanted...the spotlight.

The light disappears
And she's alone in the dark
Contemplating who she is
And all she has become
She cries alone
Forced to realize all she is
Or rather all she's not
And she crumbles and falls
Realizes all she is
And all she ever will be
Is an attention w***e

And in groups of three
She makes sure all you see
Is her
Her actions loud, bold,
Even obnoxious
But her mission is accomplished
Because all you see is her,
The attention w***e.

And in the dark
She falls apart
Away from all the noise and glitter
and her spotlight
She realizes
She's going to be alone
Even when she's the center of it all

All that she is
And fear eats her heart

Author's Note

Inspired by one of my friends calling me an attention whore. I like this but I feel that there are places where there are stumbles. What do you guys think? Any suggestions or criticism?

I liked it, but I feel like....I don't know, maybe it was a little too repetitive, and maybe you can expand on some of the feelings she has, about being afraid to be alone or that need for attention. I really do like it though, great work :)
