Whose turtle will four fit?

Waves of heat filled the earth with roasting power. Many years of life comforted the turtle's mind, it would live through this.

Water was scarse.

It had traveled too far from the cooling trees. A retreat back would take too much effort. .. it could feel the heat crawling all up it's insides. The turtles mind felt dull and slow. It bit malacefully at the straw rubbing against its face.

The Circle Light was still very high.

"Misery", it thought.
Looking around with sullen eyes, it added, "solitude."
