A love poem of sorts.

Is it sad that my fingertips
circle my lips,
awaiting a kiss?
Getting one so sweet,
Now that's my heart's special treat.

Is it sad I sit around all day,
My heart in a crazy sway,
Awaiting an answer?
Getting one so sound,
Now that's my mind's solid ground.

Is it sad I count down the days,
Until I'm in your loving gaze,
Awaiting your warm embrace;
A gentle smile across your face?
Getting one so great,
Now that's my sight's perfect date.
