The Mystic Heart

This is one of my favorite poems written during a transitional phase in my life.

Fairy dust and magic spells
Misty meadows with sunlight veils
A mystic land so far away
Hidden behind a wall of grey
To find this place - go inside
Look with only a childlike eye
A freedom known, but long ago lost
Found once again - under melted frost
The sun is shining - the flowers bloom
Their fragrant potions make one swoon
Intoxicated by all that is seen
A beautiful world - like a vivid dream
In every direction, love is there
Again, the heart is open,
Again, the heart can share.

Beautiful !

I think this is a peek inside the mind, discovery and
rejuvination.

It is a beautiful picture of the human spirit suffering
winter and bursting forth in a rebirth of Spring.
