freak on a leash

i wrote it listening to a Corn song: "Freak on a Leash" and dedicate it to them

take me by the hand... or scruff
but promise not to be too rough


i drink the waters of your ache

it pools beneath us 
an  expanding lake

you slake my thirst  but not my fury

i take my time, and

you don't hurry


i savour the saltiness of your wont

posture  rigid
muscles taut

no need to fight to get what i want

drenched in the oils

of your sweat

i feel you shake

then you are spent

you told your  story...that made you weak

i could almost love you
...if you didn't speak

Interesting write - exploring the control of the female over the male - who appears to have little control - poor guy, I don't know the song but this poem is great - very atmospheric with almost austere mood to it. Loved it
