I wrote this poem for a meeting for survivors of sexual assault

Survivor

You are strong

You are beautiful

You are amazing

And you are a survivor

You deserve honesty

You deserve faithfulness

You deserve happiness

You survived, you deserve the best!

Feel happy

Feel yourself laugh

Feel mind and body connection

Feel like a survivor

Know you are loved

Know you are strong

Know you are in control 

Know you are a survivor
