A Poem by The Fiddley Scrawler - A Blog by Prema Tata
"

On the eve of India-Pakistan Cricket World Cup Semis, with a satirical reference to the Indo-Pak wars... Scrawled On: Tuesday, 29th March 2011

"

India! Rear your mettle,
An unfinished old score to settle;
No Prime Minister nor any Gandhis' edict
Can any sway on your victory inflict;
In this shall every Indian & his soldier that ever there was, delight,
Recalled from the battlefield, on the cricket-field we show our might!
