Contradictingly Beautiful

Your emotions are toiling... a beautiful mixture of love and hate

I hate you.

You stupid incomprehensible bully

Full of joke and jeer

I despise you.

 

You stare and him balefully.

 

A contradiction escapes

No, you don’t.

His lips dare curl into a smirk

 

Brows furrow.

Tempers flare.

Yes, I do!

 

Yet still you hold his hand

You clench in realization

He tightens his grip and smiles.

 

You waver

Conflict clash within

You decide

 

I love you.

He grins even brighter.

You convey a silent reply of I love you too in turn.
