foster familial bond

i hope you didnt forget me

its mothers day, thank you for having me

even if it was for just two months

an odd ten years or so

counted lifetimes ago

                          

im in uni now, for computers and politics

im not a torie boy though

thats not where my passion is

yet everyone says im talented

so id rather not let them down

                                 

ive seen the world,

lived in the silver screen

ive done mountainside psychedelics 

ive done all of the things

im just like everyone else

                                          

im doing well, and im so very sorry

if im being a burden

i missed out on this part before

and i just wanted to be

remembered as a son

                                    

not a name,

or a checkmark,

and i dont want to be

alone anymore
