The Brick-mason

The Brick-mason

A Poem by Jason

The mason
Mounts a mile high
Mark of isolation, laying each lie one by one
By one by one, brick by brick he closes in what Is not meant to be seen
Is the world even waiting or willing for this unveiling, cement lined secrets that
Seal off her eyes (Her lies), kept away from the honesty of the blue skies as she dies a little more with each
Stone

Wow. What a potent metaphor, and I can remember feeling those bricks piling up on me, what seems like decades ago, but really isn't so distant.
This is an amazing short, and the mind creates a much longer piece of thought after you are finished reading. Stupendous.
