No shadows, no dreamsA Poem by Jasonfree thought...I remember when the sun rose; lit up faces and places and mountain crests highlighted with white caps as though the sky was an ocean. But your shadow grew long before I had the chance to say farewell. Dusk had set and three dimensions of sight fell to two, then into a pressed canvas of a memory; a flat blur of grey and black, a singular dimension of thought. Then the moonless night rose-black like sleepless dreams-I saw nothing but trails of the day left behind by a waiver of grace, you slipping back into my subconscience, were you even there?
