Translitria, Land Beyond Words

Translitria, Land Beyond Words

A Poem by Fishysua

Words scribbled in vain, sleepy afternoon,
Phantoms of people who never were,
The missing present in our moment,
Pulled from the past, fearing the future,
You’ll never meet them sharing our sunlight.

Break a promise to open conversation,
Foreign customs, familiar handshakes,
Simple transgressions join our worlds,
Step across without intention, leave home,
Make new friends under a rust overcast.

Shadows met, you become the lonely stranger,
Wandering lost as in deepest forest,
Stone expression, littering the ground,
A daydream only, yours another life lived,
Helpless, forget our constellations.

About
I found some writing on a napkin. I'm going to copy it here and pitch the napkin. It's time I start writing again. I'm really not much of a Novelist, much more a poet or even a mathematition.. more..
