Patrick Doesn't turkey anymore?

Patrick Doesn't turkey anymore?

A Poem by Patrick L. Fannin
"

I dont know what this is about really?

"
I went to the fridge today in an intoxicated stoper
Sweet ganja had driven me to hunger again
immediately I am drawn to the deli meats
I see sliced turkey, I open it
upon opening it I have a 2nd thought
recalling that I hadn’t been appeitized by turkey before
recently, I had chosen just ham
I was told in school that our taste buds change naturally
this brought to mind a microcosm
for how the natural world changes around us
that our biology occurred with out consent
and the concept of becoming use to natural occurrences
this had special meaning in a time of my early twenties
a time in which I felt being passed up by the world
a world much like my biology that I had no control over
I chose to pass up the turkey this time
to admit defeat to my bio-processes
to give in and adapt
to give in
and eat a hot ham and cheese
