INNER STRUGGLE CONTINUES

Pain devours the endless vast white
I find myself in dark impending plight
My dreams breathe a putrid night breeze
Infecting my thoughts with disease.

I stumble into the depths of my mind
Utopia full of life turned unkind
Drowning in misery; I suffer a heavy heart
My body and soul are being ripped apart.

A dichotomy between feeling and action
Leaving me lifeless to my dissatisfaction
Reality is the Mona Lisa of sorrow
Drawn on a black stained tomorrow.

Great visual of the Mona Lisa in sorrow...I loved that. Very dark and apparently I started with the wrong one. I will go and read the first and will impatiently await the third. Your rhyme was very good and did not interrupt the flow in the least. It amazes me how far the mind can take you down a dark and dismal path and how well some elaborate that feeling in words. Great job.

I prefer this installment to the first installment of the poem, it seems clearer and easier to create the imagery in my mind, and so to follow the meaning. I look forward to the final installment.
