RAY OF LIGHT

An angel, singled out for her beauty,
Fell into my otherwise empty life,
Gorgeous creature of utmost divinity,
Gracing my seldom elated life.

She’s erased all traces of the corrupt
and turned my life downside up.

My days brim over with heavenly cheer,
She fills my soul with lustrous bliss,
With her by my side, I’ve nothing to fear,
My life is no longer amiss.
