HEAVENLY SIGH

I love watching you sleep.

Your eyes silent as the stars that
kiss the night, parading their dreams
as you lay on my chest - whimsical.

Your breaths congregate atop
my goose-bumped skin,
giving life to the love that
dances on my flesh, whenever
you are near - rapturous.

The beat of your heart,
reverberates through me in
melodious harmony, bringing
heaven's sigh to my ears - enchanting.

You open your eyes with a smile...

Your lips make their way to mine,
tip-toeing up my neck, waltzing
on my chin, before falling asleep
in my embrace - unforgettable.
