A Cowgirl and Her Horse

I was on my way
To the beginning big the break of day,
When suddenly my world came crashing down.

I didn't know what to do,
Except for remember you.
I lost part of my heart today,
I will never feel the same way

I lost my best friend and I lost him forever,
Until the beginning of my end.
I shall never see him standing in the snow,
Or watch him when the steam from his nostrils blow.
For all I see is misery,
Waiting to descend ruthlessly upon me.
