InnocenceA Poem by Blooming FlowerWriting this to the instrumental “Innocence” by Takaaki Izumi. Written in 2023
A newborn infant. A young child who knows no wrong or right. They don’t know how horrible the world could be. They see roses instead of thorns. They allow you to see things you’ve long forgotten about. They’re like flowers growing in asphalt. They make you feel new. They help you forget about all your worries and sins. You can just exist with them. You see everything through their eyes. The roses instead of the thorns. The calm rain instead of the violent storms.
