Writers

A Story by fng15860

Blank pages.  That's what it always starts with, isn't it?  Just an open, white expanse stretching for the limited space of shifting, shuffling pages, though to the mind it seems such a daunting task to fill those pages with words, thoughts.  It's never a matter of what to write about, however.  It's how to go about it.  How should I shape mingled nonsense from my own brain into something that's meaningful and coherent in the minds of the denizens of perusing readers?  To that, sadly, there's no definite answer.  So what is there to do, but start scribbling nonsense down?  After all, that's all that this is.  Nonsense that will hold no great significance to the fate of humankind at all.  It'll possibly, though not probably, be read, and then forgotten within 5 minutes.  Just like all of the bullshit written by us amateur writers.
If your name's not gold, don't expect to sell a single copy.
