It has the feel of a Journal entry - and that is good. Try to be wary of using Author's shorthand (as I call it) - that is when since YOU are fully knowledgeable of your intent you leave out bits and words that others may need to understand and perhaps better FEEL what you are trying to express.

Not all readers are the same - as regards a general awareness and understanding.
