Fading Away

Fading Away

A Poem by fox walker

Deeper I fall into this whole.
I fear as though I've lost my soul.
life has surely taken its toll .

I just do not seem to care.
My will to live is no longer there.
So alone life is not fair.
O God This pain will you not spare.
How much more can one bear.
Ask for help I do not dare.
So into the darkness I shall stare

As I sit here by myself .
Like a useless tool upon the shelf .
Slipping down into the black.
I can't get out.I can't come back.
Clawing away at the walls.
As my mind inevitably Falls.

Deeper I go light disappears..
along with it all my fears ...
As I wipe away my tears.

Descending swiftly I cannot see
anything in front of me.
I think to myself it's OK
all of this will end someday

As I fall and fade away...............
