Whispers

Whispers

A Poem by Garnet Christine

She whispers to the trees,
Telling them her secrets.
She hopes they hear her voice,
But they don't. Too busy dancing.

She whispers to the wind,
Knowing it'll carry her words to someone.
Someone hears her,
Listening to her words, taking her in.

"This love hurts.
Take me now, on this floor."
She says.
He does. And they love.
