growingA Poem by freelancejousterif there's a chance of corruption, i've no one to blame except you. you were perfection, and you've left me here to rot, keeping me company in my decline when you feel the urge or that you might benefit from it. i know you don't love me. i wish you'd stop pretending, start being honest, like we used to be. the saddest part, is that i don't regret anything, every second of time spent with you i cherish, because even if you aren't here for me now, you helped me see that i deserved better than what i had, and that i could do anything i set my mine to.
