By Chance, I'm Losing You

By Chance, I'm Losing You

A Poem by unsentwordsofgirl
"

I'm so afraid to be hurt, I will do it first

"
And I fear, my dear
The sand is falling faster
I can't tell if it's for this argument
Or our feelings, unkempt

I'm lost on what is true
Am I in love with the memory of you?
How much fear can we take?
I think the final straw is about to break

But I will hold onto the last fiber
Because I don't care about our anger
Or fear, or regret

I will never stop trying, my dear, my love
I will stand with you as the sky caves in
And hold you tight when your mind is lost

No mistake you can make will ever make me regret
Trying every day to make us okay

Courageous determination here, and a refusal to accept defeat. I can only offer best wishes.
