Summer Haze

This is a poem I wrote in third grade.

I wrote this poem in third grade. I just found it in an old Gifted program, so I thought I'd share for nostalgia. 

 

The sun wakes up

When the stars go away

The blazing of sunlight

Flashing on the day

 

The afternoon's bees

Go buzzing away

Kids and their pets

Go outside to play

 

The sky's turned dark

The stars turned bright

For it is time to

Say goodnight!
