I'm torn...

I am relentlessly torn

between total isolation

and letting my time revolve around you.

I want to have you while I can

but soon we'll be apart

and that I'll have to get used to.

I know exactly how this feels. Swing between radical all-consuming passion, and distant icy alone-ness, then back and forth, like a pendulum.
