Upon an Ancient Sea

We sail an ancient sea, you and I
waters below and above
within this ethereal thin
interface of our union

We move a universal rhythm, you and I
the music of the spheres
and this love we live so close
binds together ev’ry living thing

our movement, our tranquility
our faces reflected in suns
reflecting the stars at night
upon this ancient sea.
