The Ocean is Not Blue

I am hopelessly romantic

The ocean is not blue

It is clear

And clear is not a color

It is nothing

The water reflects 

The light from the sky

So people mistake the 

Ocean's blue

With the 

Reflection of blue

But the ocean

Is not blue

You are clear like water

You did not know 

If you had a color

So you reflected blue

Somebody else's hue

That is not meant for you

You are you

You are not blue

And you will never be nothing

Because to me 

You are everything
