Dirty Water

Dirty Water

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

The dirty water in
the town of beans
stands as witness
that true faith might,

might mind you,

be grounded in conscience
or maybe some kind
of transcendent truth,
yet truth is found each
and every place within
each and every person,

be it through the
derivation of the
quarter-squares rule
or a customer randomly
purchasing motor oil,
dog food and Lucky Charms,

meaning can be found
anywhere if one looks for it,

whether one is or is not
in a state of dehydration
or water toxicity,

the universe speaks  in
patterns and humor
and coincidence,

that may be the meaning
of it all after all,

meaning, your name
is understandable absurdity
