take apart the pieces in this device that looks
so deceptively simplistic and you'll realize there are enough facets to require a fourteen-page instruction booklet that look like Morse Code and Braille were imprinted on the pages together, this could be a computer system, the internal plumbing of a hole or just a moral framework that requires no divinity whatsoever, no matter the level of identification or magnification, complexity begets complexity with or without a divine intercessor, our concepts of divinity can make heads spin but even at basest material level, the elementary particle fails to follow any kind of elementary schema, human knowledge is just an approximation of the Truth or the Forms to quote Plato's terminology, even the exact values refuse to have their decimal tails recur and terminate, their irrationality of it all has a rationality all its own and a rationality for the minute collective called the human experience, we know life, the universe and everything can be followed with some kind of accuracy, stunning or not, but yet we know that change is inevitable, at some point down the line, one astronomical unit will no longer be an astronomical unit as we know and understand it, despite the complexity, the nuggets of simplicity can be found and that may be the only comfort we can have as our race of beings takes things apart © 2012 Kenneth The Poet |
