You broke my intelligence meter...it went all the way to one hundred and then circled back around on itself. You hurt my pretty brain. *laugh*
This was a really great piece of writing. I have read so much political bullshit on this site, my mind is numb...this was like a tea cozy for my intellect. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
Not much I can add to this one...you've summed it up as well as it can be summed up, and the last three lines wrap it up beautifully with its poetic despondence.

Again nicely done, especially when you consider the barrage of views we have to deal with at this time of the vain and egotistical people who think they speak for everyone else. This actually has made me decide to share an idea, which I admit I didn't create, but I agree with to the bottom of my heart. I think I will call it the Draft.

The "soup sandwich" is a blinding metaphor...what a mish mash society has become huh? Believng the hype and not truth...never wanting to pull the curtains back for fear that light would render them needing to look deeper on a daily basis!
We are wiser than this in truth, when will we remember who we are ey?
As always, pleasure to read you hon...hope all is well? xoxo
