Coal

Coal

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

the pacifistic communist,

or the communistic pacifist,

checks his list twice to see if

the evil children get coal for

the holiday season,

in all honesty,

why is that a bad thing?

in the old days,

it fueled fires that kept

them warm, that kept

them breathing,

and nowadays, it powers

many cities through the

nasty, below zero winters,

and when exposed to heavy

pressures and high heat,

the hardest of all substances

is formed,

so again,

why is coal is a bad thing?

because dogmatic thinking

is the negative force behind

the myth
