The Unlucky Ones

The Unlucky Ones

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

twenty-six out cold forever,
and one has to wonder why,

why, why, why?

there probably was no reason
but extreme egotism a*s-raping
the s**t out of that man’s mind,

and he used that excuse to kill
people who either didn’t know
him or loved him as her own,

for what reason, they ask

there was no reason,

it just was

it just was at the school

it just was at the shopping center

it just was at the movie theater

it just was on the south side street corner

mankind will always hate mankind,
from birth to death,
from innocence to incontinence,
from now to the end

they were the unlucky ones
just like the next one will
be the unlucky ones

~ this hatred is a saddening reality, monsieur... i'm very disillusioned and distressed about it... i wish i could say that it will get dissolved... but there are just too many proponents of anger and hatred... of the venting of frustration... ~ these so-called intellectuals who indulge in the advocacy of rage are causing this deep rooting of hatred... they're just destroying the world and making education redundant... grown-ups are supposed to behave like grown-ups but they don't... so how can we expect young people to be mature... some take to shooting and some get brainwashed into becoming terrorists... we live in a very ugly world...
