Cold WindA Poem by Kenneth The Poetthe cold wind chafes the unprotected underbelly,
frost biting the skin converting to a gangrenous feast for buzzards and bacteria,
the child puts the full cup from Starbucks on her face to combat the cold effects,
the people coming in are human cars trying to turn over,
yet the weather outside isn't frightful, just miserably cold if you push carts or flash old ladies at bus stops,
still the cold really doesn't deter, it only causes adaptation,
humans thrive in any environment nowadays, so even the chafing, gangrenous underbelly has a chance of survival so...
let it be cold,
let it stay cold,
let it keep the free agents on their toes
