Sea Change

Sea Change

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

men have zero worth,
are shadows from birth

wingnuts that rust down
into a circus clown,

the kind that always frowns
when the s**t is falling down,

no laughs, just bad remarks
chum-baiting rabid sharks

building the case toward the end,
a grand gesture to the world he sends

bullet through and brain matter out,
life is beyond the chronic gout

the dull roar that never stops,
just the thrum of belly flops

may death come for the sullen
all at sea like Jaime Cullum

no sea change has started
only the wind has farted

Thank you, Craig, as always.
Artists are always their own toughest critics as your probably know...I think this is a pretty solid piece, clever, and spiked with scathing wit...I'd say your edge is very much intact my friend.
