Too Much MistakeA Poem by Kenneth The PoetInspired by Clay Jenkinson, a newspaper columnist from my home stateThe blank spot in a state of logarithmic decline
The coefficient negative, but the public's so blind
The economic miracle is a pipe dream at best
The golden state outweighs us, and all others as best

That makes the blank spot look anemic and pale
The boom shall be short and the bust shall be long
The blank spot shall return to that downtrodden song
The accidents of nature will some time fall down
The future deficits will put us into the ground
The recurrence of the Too Much Mistake
Is the next course the blank spot will take © 2013 Kenneth The PoetReviews
