FollyA Poem by Kenneth The Poetthe father is quasi-adept at dealing with the digital
but the onslaught is unending and unyielding
the advertising bloc is going after the youth
the youth need to be online
the youth need to be digital
the youth need to be digital like they need digitalis
digital is digitalis
the binary machine is a fox in a glove
the glow is flower pretty but xanthopsia and bradycardia become metaphors affecting the digital personality
and if taken far enough, the real personality becomes affected
and now the father reevaluates his own position in the digital world
fostering the next generation of offspring tends to cause that kind of analysis
but the father knows the human tendency toward acceptance of willful slowful poisoning
and the next generation will likely accept it, rather easily fact
parenting is false prophylaxis and the advertisers have always known this
accept it or deny it, the digital reality considers it irrelevent
all one can do is the best they can, but as the wise of old have always said
